Ghorepani - Poon hill trekking |
Trekking in Ghorepani is one of the most popular short trekking destinations in Nepal that can be accomplished within 6 days to 7days from Kathmandu. But if you have time it can be extended 10 to 15 days as per your time limitation.Poon hill (3210m) is the highest elevation from the sea level. The vantage point Poon
Ghrepani trekking reminds
you the lifetime experience in Himalaya region. You wont get bored and
dissatisfy any stop over nor in any trails. Hospitable people, warm culture,
greeny forest and the splendid mountains are the major attraction of Ghorepani.
There is no seasonal barrier to trek in Ghorepani however; I
would like to recommend the best seasons are autumn (September, October and
November) and spring (Feburary, March, April). The weather becomes clean and
mountains glow up more. You can hike Poon hill in early
morning to see Sunrise and at the evening to see the sunset because at the daytime
the mountains are blanketed by the ray of sun and the misty clouds. At spring, you
feel more specific because the nature welcome you vivid colour of blossoming
rhododendron and other wild flowers. Likewise, autumn brings you warm
temperature, clean sky and the biggest festival Dashain and Tihar delighted
your day awesomely.
I recommend this Itinerary for the perfect holiday traveler who wants to go Ghorepani trekking.
